‘Late Akhil Chandra Dutta Roy Smriti Puraskar’ was instituted to be awarded to the scorer of highest marks in the TDC final examination among the students of our college the award is sponsored by Miss Nandita Dutta Roy, Ex-Principal i/c ,Janata College in memory of her father Late Akhil Chandra Dutta Roy. Besides, the College also felicitates the students obtaining highest marks in TDC( Honours/ Pass) and H.S. level, from among those who appeared in the previous University/ Council examination from this institution.
